Designed Around Nature
Galapagos Safari Camp is a family-owned luxury tented camp on 55 hectares of private land in the highlands of Santa Cruz Island, bordering the Galapagos National Park. Once cattle farmland, the property has been rewilded and is now home to Galapagos giant tortoises, Darwin’s finches, Galapagos mockingbirds and barn owls, among many other species. Conservationists have also identified nests of the elusive Galapagos Petrel on the reserve. Wildlife is part of daily life at Camp, as well as the Safaris beyond it.
Designed in harmony with its surroundings, the Camp combines just nine African-inspired Safari Tents and one Family Suite with shared spaces for dining, gathering, and quiet reflection. The Camp overlooks the Galapagos National Park and Pacific Ocean beyond.
Rooted in the philosophy of Appropriate Luxury, life at Camp balances comfort with a close connection to nature, thoughtful cuisine, and responsible stewardship. Intentionally small and personal, the Camp offers flexible, tailor-made Safaris suited to couples, families, and multi-generational travellers seeking an unhurried, meaningful way to experience the Galapagos.
